Obituary for Glenn E. Varner

Glenn E. Varner, age 77 of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born Sunday, April 6, 1940 in Shippensburg, a child of the late Paul and Beulah Varner.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy (Crowe) Varner, daughter, Becky Yeager, step-children, Dean, Crystal and Mark Fogal, and grandchild, Caleb Fogal who lived with Glenn and Nancy, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Lee Varner and sister, Janet Beam. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Varner.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 27 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastors John Pogue and Marlin "Butch" Neal officiating. A visitation will be held at 9:30 AM until time of services. Interment with military honors provided by American Legion Post # 223 will be conducted in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens in Carlisle.
