A. Louise Biesecker

Louise (Stouch) Biesecker, age 80, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Genesis Gettysburg Center, Gettysburg, where she resided for the last nine months. She was born Thursday, May 18, 1938 in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late Olive Mae Stouch and William Stonebaker. Louise grew up at the Hoffman Home and graduated from Gettysburg High School. She worked at a variety of jobs from cashier at Murphy’s five and dime to secretary of Lincoln General Insurance Co. she retired from Sprint Telephone Co. Louise was a member of the Rock Top Club, Gettysburg Moose, and a past board member of the Gettysburg Senior Center. Louise was a christian and a member of the Gettysburg church of Christ. She is survived by her brother, Richard (Jan) Stouch of Sodus Point, NY and Thomas Abbott; son, Kevin (Lori) Biesecker of Biglerville; grandchildren, Alyssa Biesecker of Arendtsville, Jonathan Biesecker of Jacksonville, FL, Samuel Biesecker of Biglerville and four nephews, Todd Stouch of Spring Grove, PA, Ryan Stouch of Gettysburg, Keith Biesecker of Orrtanna and Craig Beisecker of Union City, CA. She was preceded in death by her nephew, David Stouch. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville. Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 22 at 6:00 PM at Lake Heritage Clubhouse, 1000 Heritage Drive, Gettysburg, PA 17325.We will share a potluck supper together following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to bring simple daffodil or tulip bouquets, cut from your own garden, if possible. Please take them home with you at the end of the evening. Louise would have loved seeing bunches of her favorite flowers sitting around the room that we gather to celebrate her life.
