Allen LeRoy Cline, 92, of New Oxford, passed to eternal life on Friday, November 2, 2018 at UMPC Pinnacle Hanover. He was born on February 12, 1926, in Mt. Tabor, PA, and was the son of the late Ralph A. and Clara O. (Naugle) Cline. Allen was an honorary graduate of Biglerville High School. He was drafted during the 10th grade and proudly served in The U.S. Navy from 1944 -1946, during World War II. He retired from the Ralston Purina Company. He was a member of the Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, Upper Adams Fish & Game, American Legion Post 262 in Biglerville, life member of East Berlin VFW, and was life member of York Springs Fire Company. At the Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, Allen served on Church Council, Cemetery Board and was Sunday School Superintendent. In his spare time, Allen enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Allen was strong in his faith and had a strong love for his family. Allen is survived by his three loving daughters, Holly (Mike) Cookerly of East Berlin, PA, Jill (Jeff) Davidson, New Oxford, PA and Tammy (Marvin) Kehr, Littlestown, PA; his six grandchildren, David Cookerly, Bradenton, FL, Courtney O’Brien, Iwakuni, Japan, Nathan Cookerly, Pittsburgh, Whitney (Ketric) Buffin, San Diego, CA, Jordan Kehr, Littlestown and Ryan Kehr, King of Prussia; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen A. (Brough) Cline and one brother, Fred Stanley Cline. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 7 at Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, 185 Ground Oak Church Road, Gardners, PA 17324, with Pastor David Clark officiating. A public viewing will take place an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church Cemetery. A reception at the church will follow the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church and Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community, The Good Samaritan Fund, 2990 Carlisle Pike New Oxford, PA 17350.
