Allen R. Emlet

Allen R. (Rusty) Emlet, age 67 of York Springs, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at Dove House Hospice in Westminster. He was born Sunday, March 25, 1956 in Carlisle the son of the late Harry E. and Mary Jane (Fenton) Emlet.
Allen graduated from Bermudian Springs High School in 1974. He was employed by Sunnyside Cemetery for 29 years, where he served as caretaker, taking great pride in the appearance of the cemetery. He also worked for Van Lott and Mike Hoffman Orchards.
He is survived by many cousins. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St, Bendersville. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Upper Bermudian Church Cemetery, 185 Ground Oak Church Rd., Gardners with Reverend Trish Guise officiating.
