Andrew L. Miller, age 74 of Biglerville, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was born Wednesday, August 12, 1942 in Baltimore, the son of the late Theodore A. and Thelma (Doster) Miller. Andrew graduated from Dulaney Valley High School. He was formerly employed as a residential carpenter in Maryland and Virginia. Next to his wife and family, sail boating was his great passion. He enjoyed sailing on the Chesapeake. He served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968 during Vietnam. While in the army he was a tank driver and trainer. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Minnie R. (Arnold) Miller. He is also survived by six daughters, Regina Wheelton and Sherry Romanowski, both of Baltimore, Joy Stine of Biglerville, Kaitlyn Miller of Felton, Shannon Miller of VA, Brandy Hays of Manchester; three sons, Raymond Miller of Atlanta, Christopher Gillem of VA, Kenneth Trombley of Baltimore; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild to come in August; two sisters, Hester Miller of PA, Donna Miller of Seven Valleys; two brothers, George Miller of MD and Calvin Miller of WV. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 19 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend William Halsey officiating. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
