Ann B. Thomas, age 87 of Gettysburg, passed away August 24, 2026 at Paramount Senior Living. She was born October 20, 1938 in Gardners to the late Ray and Jean (Sowers) Baldwin. Ann was widowed by her husband, Dale E. Thomas.
Ann graduated from Biglerville High School and went to work at Knouse Foods. She worked there most of her life having numerous different roles there. In our younger years Mom’s house was where everyone hung out. She loved to cook and always made sure we all had something good to eat. Her baking skills were the bomb also. She loved being with family and friends. She was a social butterfly up until she couldn’t. She also enjoyed travelling, gardening and flowers.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arendtsville, Biglerville American Legion, Biglerville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Gettysburg VFW. Being with family and friends meant the world to her and she always knew how to throw a party. She loved playing cards and was in several card clubs.
