Anna Mary Rosenberry, 79, wife of the late Larry Rosenberry, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at Chambersburg Hospital. Born on February 15, 1946, in Waynesboro, PA, She was the daughter of the late Casper Hartman and Theresa Hartman. Anna lived a life marked by compassion, kindness, and a genuine love for her family and community.
Throughout her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Mennohaven, Anna touched the lives of many, offering care and comfort to those in need. Her warm presence and nurturing spirit created a safe haven for her patients, and her commitment to the healthcare profession was unwavering.
Anna is survived by two daughters, Laura "Chris" Rosenberry, and Leah Rosenberry Ulrich and her husband, Terry; two sons, Larry Rosenberry Jr. and his wife, Becky, and Lenny Rosenberry and his wife, Paula; one brother, Gino Hartman and his wife, Helen; one sister, Paula McFadden; eleven grandchildren: Reggie Gossert, Nikki Byrne, Dylan Ulrich, Landin Ulrich, RJ Yeager, Ryan Rockwell, Sierra Neil, Kelby Rosenberry, Brenna Scott, Bryce Snyder, and Riley Snyder; and 13 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Anna was preceded in death by a brother, Denny Hartman; and a sister, Barb Hartman.
Anna had a passion for life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed word finds and Sudoku puzzles, bird watching, and found delight in the beauty of hummingbirds. Anna was a fan of Hallmark Channel movies, crime investigation shows, and Westerns. Her love of food, particularly ice cream, made her family gatherings memorable, as she shared bites of deliciousness and laughter with those she loved. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd. 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Norland Cemtery, 2295 Philadelphia Avenue in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
