Annetta Jackson White, age 94 of Lancaster died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her home with her daughters by her side. She was born Monday, February 28, 1916 in Cass County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Crystal (Bridge) Gray. Annetta was a talented homemaker, artist and seamstress. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Huntington, Indiana and the Huntington Art Guild. Prior to moving to Lancaster in 1999, she resided in Columbia City and Loon Lake in Indiana. Grandma Jack was the inspiration for and source of the recipe for Grandma Jacks Gourmet Caramel Corn. Annetta was an extremely capable woman who approached every task with love and her signature creative flair. Her husband of 39 years, Robert White preceded her in death in 1977. Three daughters survive her: Emily L. and husband Wendell Law, Tavares, FL,Roberta (Berty) and husband John Fitzgerald, Fort Loudon, PA, and Wanda L. Wiley, Lancaster, PA; as well as seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg is handling professional arrangements. Services will be private. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory in Marion, Indiana. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to your charity of your choice.
