Anthony D. Galloro, age 82 of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Village of Laurel Run. He was born Monday, November 24, 1930 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Franco and Edna (Ambrosi) Galloro. Anthony retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his military service, Anthony was the editor and business manager for the PA Association of Township Supervisor's magazine. In the 1960s and '70s he was a radio personality for Carlisle station WIOO. In the 1980s he was elected township supervisor for North Middleton Township and served two terms. He then retired from Chemung Highway Supply and Distribution. His wife, Anna J. (Bartholomew) Galloro, passed June 19, 2011. He is survived by one daughter, Julie and husband Jim Snyder of Marysville; two sons; Dominic A. and wife Lynn Galloro of Gaithersburg, MD, Perry R. Galloro of Anderson, SC; and one granddaughter, Meredith Snyder. He was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Drozdowski and one brother, Vincent Galloro. Cremation services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Home Nursing Agency, 201 Chestnut Avenue, P.O.
