Barbara Mae Gamber Meyers Cole

Barbara Mae Gamber Meyers Cole, age 86, passed away on May 3, 2019 in Biglerville, Adams County, PA at the home of her daughter, from complications of kidney failure. Barbara was born on August 11, 1932 in West Friendship, Howard County, MD. She was the second of six children born to William David Gamber and Beulah Catherine Staubitz. Barbara married Henry Nelson Meyers, Sr. on November 3, 1951 in Baltimore, MD. They divorced on August 20, 1973 in Towson, Baltimore County, MD. They were the parents of seven children, Michael (Lyn) Meyers of Clearwater, FL, Dennis (Connie) Meyers of Provo, UT, Henry (Cindi) Meyers of Reisterstown, MD, William Meyers of Granite, MD, Barbara (Tom) West of Biglerville, PA, Mary Lentz of Granite, MD, and Teresa Atkinson of Linwood, MD. Barbara married Raymond Edward Cole on June 2, 1979 in Arbutus, Baltimore County, MD. Barbara had twelve grandchildren: Bill, Daniel, Krista, Katie Lynn, Chad, Brittany, Angela, Russell, Sabrina, Jake, Mary Rose, and Brian. Barbara also had eight great-grandchildren. Barbara is survived by two brothers: Frank and Larry Gamber. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Cole, parents, brothers, Wilson and Paul, and her sister Betty June, and two great-grandchildren. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. It was Barbara’s wishes to be cremated and not to have any funeral services.
