Beatrice K. Powell

Beatrice K. Powell, age 73, of Chambersburg, formerly of Roxbury, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her home. She was born Wednesday, June 14, 1944 in Roxbury, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Laura C. (Beidel) Powell. Beatrice graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1962. She was formerly employed by F&M Trust as a bookkeeper for 38 years. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. She survived by one sister, Janet L. Pomeroy of Chambersburg, one brother, George A. and wife Connie Powell of Myrtle Beach, SC, five nieces, one nephew, and one great-nephew, Derek Burger. She was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Allan R. Pomeroy. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 22, at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend Paul Baker officiating. Interment will be in Roxbury Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
