Bernadette I. Direnzo

Bernadette I. DiRenzo, 78, of Shippensburg, died peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at home. She was born on August 8, 1932 in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late William J. Hancotte and Isabelle F. Collins Hancotte. She greatly enjoyed drivingschool bus and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was active with SilverSneakers of Shippensburg. She is survived by her daughter: Marie B. McCardell andher husband Patrick M.McCardell of Shippensburg; her son: Francis J. DiRenzo of Quakertown;her brother: William Hancotte of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers: Daniel Hancotte and James Hancotte. A Mass will be offered in Bernadette's name and in her memory at the convenience of her family. The family has entrusted funeral arrangements to the Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory in Shippensburg.
