Betty A. Asper

Betty A. Asper, age 84 of York Springs, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Transitions Health Care in Gettysburg. She was born Thursday, July 27, 1939 in York Springs, the daughter of the late Charles A. and Edith A. (Shaffer) Asper.

Betty was formerly employed by Hanover Foods for 38 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in York Springs. She enjoyed going to the beach and going to Raystown Lake.

She is survived by one son, Eugene C. Asper of York Springs and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Nelson C. Asper.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Dugan Funeral Home, with Reverend Gary Fanus officiating. Private interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery.
