Betty Jane Rice

Betty Jane Rice, age 73, ofEast Berlin died Thursday, September 15, 2011. She was born Thursday, August4, 1938 in Littlestown, the daughter of the late Edward P. and AmyBell (Frock) Heiser. Shewas a homemaker for her children all of her life. Her husband Wally Rice Sr. died in 1989. She is survived by threedaughters: Tinley A. Fridinger, Biglerville, Amy J. Sharp, Thomasville, Wendy K. Hoff, East Berlin; three sons: Greg A. Hall, Thomasville, Chuck H. Hall, Fairfield, Wally Rice, Jr. Carlisle, a brother, Carroll Heiser, Littlestown; two sisters: Virgina Reynolds and Anna Hood both of Littlestown; eight grandchildren: Tonia Hankey, Nicole Leedom, Crystal Hoff, Natasha Fridinger, Jimmy Fridinger, Chelsey Ritchey, Alek Hall, and Dylan Hall; and nine great grandchildren.Four brothers: Elwood, John, Frank and Edward Heiser and two sisters: Marion Chronister and Rita Holland preceded herin death. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 24, at Dugan Funeral Home. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery.
