Betty S. Miller, who passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 82 at her home in Gardners. Born on July 19, 1943, in Glen White, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Noah L. Cooper and Ruby V. Runyon.
Betty worked at Pfaltzgraff for 33 years and at Knouse Foods for 10 years. She was a member of Idaville United Brethren in Church Christ.
Betty is survived by three children, Teresa Hill and her spouse, Stephen Hill, Sr., Wayne L. Miller, Jr. and his spouse, Denise M. Miller, Michelle L. Myers and her spouse, Robert F. Myers; four siblings, Gary W. Cooper, May Redden, Nancy Shaffer, Sandra Naugle; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne L. Miller, Sr., four siblings, Robert L. Cooper, Harman O. Cooper, Thomas E. Cooper, and Charles L. Cooper; and one grandson, Stephen Hill, Jr.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. A funeral service for Betty will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street in Bendersville with Pastor Marc Webb officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Betty will be laid to rest in Oaklawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Brethren in Christ Church, 3590 Carlisle Rd, Gardners, PA 17324 or to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
