Betty Leona Reilly

Betty Leona Reilly, age 98, of Orrstown, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Orrstown Personal Care Home in Orrstown. She was born April 5, 1925 in Bedford, PA, as the child of the late Edward and Lula (Starr) Lepley.

Betty graduated from High School. She went on to work at Letterkenny where she met and then married her late husband, James T. Reilly, who passed in 1993, and became a homemaker. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church and The Order of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening, cleaning her home, and helping to raise her grandchildren and take them to school.

Betty is survived by her two loving daughters, Mary Jane Strock and her husband, Jan of Chambersburg, and Patricia Rhine and her husband, Jerry of Palatka, Florida; her loving son, Thomas L. Reilly and his wife, Darlene of Shippensburg; brother, Ralph Lepley; sister, Mary Peterson; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her two brothers, William and Elmer Lepley and two sisters, Leora Negley and Edna Riley.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Parklawns Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum Chambersburg with Pastor Bruce Levy officiating.
