Betty V. Fridinger

Betty V. Fridinger, age 76, Shippensburg went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at her home. She was born Thursday, April 12, 1934 in Shippensburg, the daughter of the late Harvey W. and Mildred Sarah (Nicholson) Allen. She was employed by New Cumberland Army Depot for approximately 10 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God, American Legion Post #223, Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168 and AmVets Post 224 in Chambersburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Fridinger who died Sept.6, 1987. She issurvived by her daughter, Linda K. and husband Art Keck, New Milford; her son, Samuel C. and wife Deb Hawkins, Sierra Vista, AZ; two step-daughters: Patricia and husband Gary Barner, Shippensburg, Roberta andhusband Wesley Wheeler, Shippensburg;two sisters: Sarah Jane Allen, Shippensburg, Mary Brandt, Shippensburg, two brothers: James W. Allen, Chambersburg, Alfred H. Allen, Chambersburg; two grandchildren, four step grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 7:00pm at First Assembly of God, 420 Baltimore Road, Shippensburg with the Reverend Daniel E. Cluck officiating.
