Beverly Ann Harris

Beverly Ann “Bev” Harris, age 76, of Gettysburg, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home in Gettysburg. She was born January 20, 1947 in Martinsburg, WV, as the daughter of the late John H. and Lila M. (Billmyer) Gageby.

Beverly graduated from Biglerville High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Gettysburg College. She worked as a caregiver for Visiting Angels. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in New Oxford, PA. In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed genealogy research.

She is survived by her loving nephews, Shawn Gageby and his wife Anne Gageby of Fairfield, Michael Neil Gageby and his wife, Erica of Gettysburg and Timothy Jon Gageby and his wife, Lindsey of Lititz; and her niece, Jennifer Lyn Hagan of Hagerstown, MD; sister-in-law, Cathy Gageby of Gettysburg and her dear friend and caregiver, Rachel Clinger and friend, Connie Custer. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, John D. Gageby.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Christian Church in New Oxford - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1170 Kohler Mill Rd., New Oxford, PA 17350, with Bishop Michael Bohne officiating.
