Billie Ann Crum

Billie Ann Crum, age 68 of Bendersville, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home. She was born Wednesday, November 16, 1949 in Gettysburg, the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Felix) Sentz. Billie graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1967. She was formerly employed by Keystone Podiatrics in Biglerville for 20 years. She was also formerly employed by Gettysburg Hospital and Schroeder's Dentistry in Biglerville. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg. She was also a member of Cruzin Vettes Car Club. Cross-stitching was one of her favorite pastimes. She enjoyed making Christmas ornaments for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing. Billie enjoyed going to her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wayne G. Crum. She is also survived by her daughter, Wendy and husband David Schachle of Orrtanna, and son, Daryl and wife Carol Crum of Bendersville; four grandchildren, Kelsey Crum and Kalani Crum of Bendersville, Cody Schachle and Jordyn Schachle of Orrtanna, a sister, Donna and husband Barry Bixler of Gettysburg, and brother, Matthew and wife Tracy Sentz of Gettysburg. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 22, at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg with Reverend Michael Allwein officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until time of services.
