Bonnie A. Johnson

Bonnie A. Johnson, age 77, of Chambersburg, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her home, with her family by her side. She was born Saturday, March 18, 1944 in Doylesburg, the daughter of the late Dean Johnson and Zelda L. (Harris) Witter. Bonnie graduated from Fannett-Metal High School in 1962. She formerly was employed by Ventura Foods in Chambersburg for 14 years. She attended LifePoint Church in Chambersburg. She was a strong woman, loving mother, raising her two daughters on her own. She was a beautiful friend to many. She is survived by her daughter, Karla L. Provost of Bozeman, MT, three granddaughters, Evie Provost of Minnesota, Megan McGee of Mechanicsburg and Amy Provost of Minnesota and one sister, Linda Johnson of Newburg. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary J. McGee, who passed in 2017, her sister, Mina O'Donel and her brother Willis Johnson. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, November 24 at Parklawn Cemetery in Chambersburg with Pastor Randy Rhodes officiating.
