Bonnie L. Miller, age 74 of Concord, died peacefully in her sleep Friday, September 9, 2016 at UPMC Hospital in Altoona after battling a lengthy illness. She was born on Tuesday, October 7, 1941 in Dry Run, to the late Homer and Violet Rosenberry. She graduated from Fannett-Metal High School in 1959. She married Donald C. Miller on September 26, 1959. Upon graduation she helped her husband work the family farm. Later, for 37 years, she owned and operated several school buses as an independent contractor to the Fannett-Metal School District. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 232 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a long time committee woman for the Republican Party of Franklin County. She enjoyed watching birds, country music, going to the beach and ocean cruises. She is survived by her husband, Donald C. Miller of 57 years, three children, Karen D. Rehn and husband Arthur, Westminster, MD, Keith S. and wife Pimpar, Clarksville, TN, and Kevin D., Concord, PA; four grandchildren, Nathan D. Goshorn, Chambersburg, Kenneth K. Miller and wife Jeeranan, Clarksville, TN, Megan D. Goshorn, Chambersburg, and Katrina L. McMillan and husband Vito, Colorado Springs, CO, and three great-grandchildren, Jacob A. Goshorn, Kaiya Richardson, and Kennedy Miller. She is survived by a sister, Judy Henderson, Shippensburg. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald Rowles, Robert, John, William, Glen, and James Rosenberry and a sister, Janet Wingert. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 15 at Concord United Methodist Church, Concord, PA with Reverend Rebecca Cutchall and Pastor Marlin "Butch" Neil officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 14 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Concord Union Cemetery.
