Bruce E. Gochenaur, Sr.

Bruce E. Gochenaur, Sr., age 85, of Shippensburg, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Shippensburg Healthcare Center. He was born Saturday, March 17, 1934 in Dillsburg, the son of the late John A. and Della M. (Bentz) Gochenaur. Bruce was a member of Shippensburg Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing. He was a painter most of his life. He was the husband of the late Faye (Shorb) Gochenaur. He is survived by two sons, Wilbur J. Gochenauer of Shippensburg, Bruce Jr. and wife Deb Gochenauer of Middletown; three grandchildren, Matthew Gochenaur of Shippensburg, John Gochenaur of Gettysburg and Mailaina Gochenhaur of Chambersburg; eight great-grandchildren; five step-children, Darlene, Mary, Ruth, Bill and Dennis; four sisters, Betty Miller of Manchester, Gladys Nelson of Mechanicsburg, Judy Nelson of Camp Hill and Pearl of Camp Hill and one brother, Barry Gochenauer of Camp Hill. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Gochenaur. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2020.
