Calvin L. Lake

Calvin L. Lake, age 64 of Shippensburg, died March 21, 2022 at WellSpan Health Chambersburg Hospital. He was born in McConnellsburg, PA on April 14, 1957 to Leroy and Betty (Miller) Lake. Calvin was a 1975 graduate of Shippensburg High School and was the owner of Lake’s Oil Burner Service for 45 years. He enjoyed hunting, deep-sea fishing and woodworking. Surviving are his mother of Orrstown, wife of 25 years, Ellen (Guyer) Lake of Shippensburg, daughter, Tabitha Lake of Chambersburg, son, William Lake of Chambersburg, step-son, Joshua Warren of Chambersburg, grandchildren; Ariyah Lake, Taejon Branch and Jared Hunt, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Calvin was preceded in death by his father, two sisters and step-son, Brett Warren. Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, where friends will be received on Friday, March 25, from 11:30 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Reverend Richard Rotz will officiate. Calvin will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery.
