Carl E. Rexroth, Sr.

Carl E. Rexroth, Sr., age 84, of Hanover died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Hanover Hall Nursing Home. He was born Wednesday, February 2, 1927 in Huntingdon Township, Adams County, the son of the late Walter and Mildred (Lawver) Rexroth. He was formerly employed by PennDot and KBS Trucking. He had served in the United States Army. Carl is survived by twodaughters: Sarah Cool, Thurmont, MD andSandra Runk, McSherrystown; three sons, James A. Rexroth, Gettysburg, Carl E. Rexroth, Jr., Biglerville andWalter Rexroth, Emmitsburg, MD; four sisters: Doris Rexroth, Harrisburg,Betty Grabel, Thurmont, MD, Caroline Bucher, Harrisburg and Linda Cool, Emmitsburg, MD; a brother, Walter Rexroth, Emmitsburg, MD; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Funeral Services will be heldMonday, February 21 at 11:00 AM at Dugan Funeral Home withReverend James R. Speelman officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
