Carl E. Rexroth, Jr.

Carl “Butch” E. Rexroth, Jr., age 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024 surrounded by his family at his home in Biglerville. He was born May 17, 1952 in Hanover, PA, as the son of the late Carl E. Rexroth, Sr. and Sarah Lee (Sipling) Rexroth.

Carl graduated from Hanover High School. He worked as an Assembler for BAE Systems in York for over 40 years. In his spare time, Carl enjoyed watching TV shows, more specifically ID and History Networks and most of all, spending time with his family.

Carl is survived by his daughters, June Delores Rexroth of Biglerville and Jean Marie Sears of Gettysburg; his son, Carl W. Rexroth and wife, Krissy Peyton of Gettysburg; six grandchildren, Austin Sears, Brett Sears, Julie Rexroth, Camara Schwartz, Tyler Rexroth and Cody Rexroth; two great-grandchildren, Nova and Edwin; two sisters, Sandra Runk and her husband, Ronnie and Sarah Linda Cool and brother, James Rexroth and wife, Judy. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Clara Jean (Glacken) Rexroth and his brother, Walter Rexroth.
