Carroll L. Kennedy

Carroll L. (Bud) Kennedy, age 76 of Bendersville, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born Thursday, November 11, 1937 in Rockingham County, VA, the son of the late Howard L. and Velma S. (Minnick) Kennedy. Bud was formerly employed by Knouse Foods in Biglerville for 32 years.He was a life member of Bendersville Fire Company. He was also a member the Fireman's Association of Southeastern PA., the NRA, and AARP. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ada M. (Beam) Kennedy. He is also survived by two sons: Tony Kennedy and Roger Kennedy; granddaughter, Tara Kennedy and great granddaughter, Kaila Breeden, allof Harrisonburg, VA, and three sisters: Ellie Mitchell and Mildred Cromer both of Broadway, VA, Bonnie Gray of Richmond, VA and two brothers: Raymond Kennedy of Broadway and Howard Kennedy, Jr. of Harrisonburg. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 3, at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Stuart Johns officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday December 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Dugan Funeral Home, P.O. Box 393, Bendersville, PA 17306 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
