Carroll Lee Wright

Carroll Lee Wright, age 90 of Chambersburg, passed away February 22, 2025 at Martinsburg VA Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. He was born August 20, 1934 in Monongah, WV to the late George N. and Dorothea A. (Harden) Wright.

Lee was a 20+ years veteran of the US Air Force, having served during the Vietnam Era and was a retired police officer for Letterkenny Army Depot. He was a member of the Nitterhouse Post American Legion, VFW in Dillsburg, AmVets in Chambersburg, Vietnam Club, Masonic Lodge 62 Fountain Blue France, Jaffa Shrine in Altoona and was the former owner of the 7-11 in Greenvillage.

He is survived by his daughter, Connie L. Fickes and husband, Dwayne of Chambersburg; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and brother, Melvin Wright of West Virginia. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. (Minor) Wright; daughter, LeAnn Wright; son, Gregory Wright; sister, Shirley Vincent and brother, Chester Wright.
