Casey Joe Ehrhart

Casey Joe Ehrhart, age 35 of Doylesburg, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was born Wednesday, July 20, 1983 in Chambersburg, the son of Leslie Joe Ehrhart and Audrey Rhea (Burdge) Sherman. Casey graduated from Fannett-Metal High School in 2003. He worked as a landscaper for David H. Martin Excavating. In his spare time, Casey enjoyed hunting and hands-on projects at home like building and working on cars. He was known by his family for his “need for speed” in his yellow Camaro. He is survived by his loving mother, Audrey (Burdge) Sherman and her husband, James Sherman of Amberson, his loving father, Leslie Joe Ehrhart of Orrstown, his loving wife, Lindsay N. Ehrhart of Chambersburg, his caring son, Kasen Ehrhart, his caring step-son, Landon Bitner, sister, Natosha Riley, maternal grandparents, Edsel, Sr. and Alma Burdge, paternal grandparents, Robert and Gladys Ehrhart and several aunts, uncles, cousins and caring friends. Casey will be loved and missed by all his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vonnie Hamil. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held privately at the discretion of the family. In the generous and compassionate spirit that Casey was known for, the family kindly requests that memorial flowers be sent to a local nursing home so that they may brighten someone’s day.
