Charles E. Franklin

Charles “Chuck” E. Franklin, age 71, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at his home. He was born September 11, 1949 in Shippensburg, the son of the late Harry W. and Emma E. (Goolsby) Franklin. Charles graduated in the Class of 1967 from Shippensburg Area High School. He was formerly employed by Hoffman Mills, Inc. for 30 years and retired from Schreiber Industries. He was a member of the Hub City Club and the American Legion Post #223. Chuck enjoyed shootin’ pool. He is survived by his loving wife, of 53 years, Kimberly C. (Smith) Franklin of Shippensburg; two daughters, Tracey (Quintin) L. Ehrhart of Orrstown and Becky (Bill) E. Forbus of Greencastle; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two brothers, Larry and Ronald Franklin of Shippensburg. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 23 at Spring Hill Cemetery, 114 N. Morris Street, Shippensburg with Pastor Adam Sewell officiating.
