Charles E. Lindsey, Sr.

Charles "Pete" E. Lindsey, Sr., age 76 of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center. He was born Sunday, September 21, 1941 in Chambersburg, the child of the late Harold David and Charlotte Lucille (Musser) Lindsey. He is survived by children, Linette K. O'Donnell (Robie) of Shippensburg, Charles E. Lindsey, Jr. (Anita) and Lorrie A. Timmons (Harold) both of Chambersburg, Brian L. Lindsey (Robin) of Cape Coral, FL, James M. Lindsey of Mont Alto, and grandson Shawn Swartz of Newburg, fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Reginald Lindsey, and sisters, Edna Kurens, Ann Shaver, Elsie Ott, Laurel Laughman, Karen Miller, Blanche Boggs and Littie Baumgardner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Louise Lindsey (2012), sister, Mary Thomas and brother, Harold Lindsey, Jr. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastor Kenny Craig officiating. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until time of services.
