Charlotte Frances Hostetter

Charlotte F. (McBee) Hostetter, age 86, of Gardners, passed away October 12, 2023 at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. She was born April 8, 1937 in Berkley Springs, WV to the late Virgil and Nettie (Michaels) McBee. She was widowed by her husband, Earl F. Hostetter, Sr.

Charlotte was a teacher’s aide for Menallen Friends School. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Strickhouse and husband, Richard of York Springs; son, Earl F. Hostetter, Jr and wife, Pamela of Gardners; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and brother, Richard McBee. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Hostetter, Sr.; son, Charles Hostetter and sisters, Leona Slusser and Juanita Rothenhaffer.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 4:00PM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Chapel Hill Church of God, 4521 Oxford Road, York Springs, PA 17372. Pastor Randy Huber will officiate the service.
