Clara L. Owens

Clara L. Owens, age 27 of Orrstown, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home. She was born Wednesday, November 22, 1989 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Craig A. and Theresa M. (Urankar) Owens of Orrstown. Clara graduated from Shippensburg High School in 2008 where she was on the cheerleading squad for three years. She had worked as a CNA in the Shippensburg area. She was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church in Shippensburg. Raising her son was most important to her. In addition to spending time with her son, spending time with her parents and acting goofy with her siblings was one of her favorite pastimes. She was one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. She is survived by her son, Kailer P. Flagle of Orrstown, four sisters, Casey A. Myers of Chambersburg, Cally M. Owens of Shippensburg, Maria M. Owens of Orrstown, Amanda L. Owens of Orrstown, one brother, Michael A. Owens of Orrstown and maternal grandmother, Esther Urankar of Naples, FL. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, Shippensburg with Father Dwight Schlaline officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 15 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg.
