Clarence E. Hoffman

Clarence E. (Butch) Hoffman, age 66 of Chambersburg, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at his home. He was born Wednesday, September 11, 1946 in Chambersburg, the son the late Walter O. and Margaret (Makin) Hoffman. He was formerly an employee at Keystone Freight in Chambersburg for 10 years. He had previously worked at Daily Express in Carlisle for 18 years. His wife Carolyn died in June of 2012. He is survived by a son: Clarence W. Hoffman of Chambersburg; three daughters: Carol Hoffman of Chambersburg, Catherine Price of Shade Gap and Christina Hoffman of St. Thomas; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter E. Hoffman and Billy Hoffman. Cremation services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. in Shippensburg. Interment will be in Falling Spring Reformed Mennonite Cemetery.
