Clay C. Tuckey, Sr., age 81 of Biglerville, passed away February 5, 2024 at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital. He was born June 26, 1942 in Carlisle to the late Cameron C. and Eleanor M. (Starner) Tuckey.
Clay graduated from Biglerville High School and was a mechanic for Knouse Foods for over 50 years. He was a member of the Upper Adams Jaycees and enjoyed road trips with his wife, model trains, farming in his younger days and hunting. Clay especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and loved family functions.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wilma Jean (Wenschhof) Tuckey; sons, Clay C. Jr. and significant other, Anna Wojnilo of Biglerville, Wayne and wife, Dianne of Biglerville, Craig and wife, Sandie of Gettysburg, Bruce and wife, Catherine of Gettysburg and Kevin and wife, Barbara of Biglerville; grandchildren, Shannon Wetzel, Craig, Jr. “CJ” Tuckey, Kyle C. Tuckey, Sarah Davidson, Kaitlyn Tuckey, Robert Tuckey, Nichole Tuckey and Cameron Tuckey; 6 great-grandchildren and sister, Susan Haine of Lebanon. He is also survived by his niece, Kristine Merchant. Clay was preceded in death by his son, Jason Tuckey.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville, where a viewing will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. Clay will be laid to rest at Biglerville Cemetery.
