Clifford I.F. Grim, age 83, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Martinsburg, VA Hospital in WV. He was born Friday, September 15, 1933 in Macungie, the son of the late Irvin F. and Margaret L. (Brobst) Grim. Clifford graduated from Reading High School in 1952. He was formerly employed by AMP Incorporated in Carlisle for 15 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom. He was also a member of Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post 223, Shippensburg Fly Fishing Club, Shippensburg Rod and Gun Club, Unit Commissioner of Boy Scouts of America, Tin Can Sailors Association and Navy Memorial Association He served in the US Navy from 1952-1956 and was active during the Korean War. His wife, Verl M. (Burkholder) Grim, passed away in 2010. He is survived by a daughter, Christina V. and husband John Lewis of Shippensburg, son, Timothy C. and wife Bobbie Grim of Mechanicsburg, four grandchildren, Shannon M. Fields, Ian M. Fields, Macey E. Shawver, Tyler J. Grim, a sister, Diane Long of Reading, and a brother, Richard F.L. Grim of Temple. He was preceded in death by brother, Kermit C. Grim. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 12 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 118 West Main Street, Walnut Bottom with Reverend Harold A. Bolyard, Jr. officiating. Interment with military honors provided by the Veterans' Council of Shippensburg will be conducted in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, October 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 118 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 217, Walnut Bottom, PA 17266.
