Connie A. Fritz

Connie A. Fritz, age 69 of Gettysburg, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born Tuesday, January 7, 1947 in Ridley Park, PA the daughter of the late Warren Clinton and Evelyn L. (Gurlin) Price. Connie graduated from Swarthmore High School in1964 and then graduated from Meridian Community College in Mississippi as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was formerly employed by Gettysburg Hospital, Adams-Cumberland Medical Center, Adams Co. Prison and then retired from Gettysburg Lutheran Home. She was a member of Flohr's Lutheran Church and an auxiliary member of the Elks of Gettysburg. Her husband, Charles C. Fritz passed away April 12, 2016. She is survived by four daughters, Jodie D. and husband Raymond Slothour of New Oxford, Temple C. and husband Graham Wilkes of Brandon, MS, Wendy L. and husband Ronald Clapsaddle of Gettysburg, Nicole B. and husband James Harris of Waynesboro, seven grandchildren: Makenzie Bullock, Kelsey Harris, Tyler Clapsaddle, Brendan Jones, Joshua Clapsaddle, Ashlea Clapsaddle and Bryce Harris, one sister, Christine Weyer of Glen Mills, PA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carroll Pugh. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 13 at Flohr's Lutheran Church, 595 Flohr's Church Rd., McKnightstown with Rev. Thomas Darr officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Monday, December 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flohr's Lutheran Church and also from 10:00 AM until time of services.
