Connie J. Shafer

Connie J. Shafer, age 57 of Gardners, passed away January 23, 2026 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. She was born November 9, 1968 in Carlisle to the late Robert and Virginia (Dick) Barrick. Connie attended Green Spring First Church of God and enjoyed baking and cooking.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Robert S. Shafer, Jr., son, Andrew Barrick of Shippensburg; daughter, Amanda Shafer of Gardners; grandchildren, Desiree Barrick, Aeris Redd and Varon Pate and sister, Cindy Borrero of Carlisle. Connie was preceded in death by her sisters, Kimberly Rivera and Theresa Zepeda.
