Connie R. Smith

Connie R. Smith, age70 of Gettysburg, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at her home. She was born Friday, October 26, 1945 in Columbia, PA, the daughter of the late Lewis and Edna F. (Dellinger) Splain. Connie attended Columbia High School. Before her retirement, she was employed by Hoss's Steak and Sea House in Gettysburg. She is survived by her husband, Edward K. Smith. She is also survived by three daughters, Melissa Lemaster of Gettysburg, Lana Green of Dover, and Sherry Henry of Emmittsburg, MD, sisters Diane Shope, Cookie Snyder and Bonnie Snyder, brothers Lewis Splain Jr., Ronald Splain, Rick Splain and Steve Splain and four grandchildren: Ashley Coon of MD, Tiara McCowan of Aspers, Acacia Green of CA and Isaiah Green of Dover. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister Bonnie. Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
