Crongie C. Wyne

Crongie C. Wyne, age 67, formerly of Bear Mountain, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Martinsburg VA Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. He was born Wednesday, June 4, 1947 in Warrenton, VA, the son of the late Crongie D. and Mary E. (Sinclair) Wyne. Crongie was formerly employed by Washington Gas Company in Gaithersburg, MD. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Sergeant during Vietnam. He is survived by one daughter, Michele A. Compher of Biglerville, one son, David J. Thorne of Aspers, two step-grandchildren and one sister, Evelyn Chesney of Warrenton, VA. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 21 at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Susan McCarthy officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery with Military Services offered by Adams County Allied Veterans.
