Curtis W. Horn, age 83 of Shippensburg, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Delvin Manor, Cumberland, MD. He was born Sunday, July 6, 1930 in Freestone, PA the child of the late George and Vera (Wright) Horn. Curtis served in the US Army. He was employed as a logger and truck driver by Rosenberry Brothers for 10 years. He was a member of the American Legion. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia M. (Burkholder) Horn. He is also survived by three daughters: Deborah (Darwin) Goshorn, Orangeville, PA, Diana (Dana) Wagaman, Mont Alto, Pam (Bob) Doyle, Dry Run; granddaughter Cressa (Ed) Kerlin, Eric (Cindy) Goshorn, Stacey (Josh) Shadle, Tonya (Dave) Semple, Billy (Amber) Doyle; great grandchildren Daniel Johnson, Kyler (Alesha) Goshorn, Gavin, Evan, Colin Semple; Landon, Bryson Doyle; sisters: Oralee Gipe, Shippensburg and Beryl Walls, Saint Thomas; brother, Emory Horn, of Shippensburg. He was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 27 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg with Pastor Darwin Goshorn officiating. A viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment following cremation will be in Upper Strasburg Cemetery.
