Dale H. Williams

Dale H. Williams, age 94 of York Springs, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born Monday, January 14, 1924 in Latimore Twp. Adams Co., the son of the late Lewis A. and Mae E. (Pifer) Williams. Dale was formerly employed by W.S. Miller & Sons in Paxtang for many years. He also did construction work in the York Springs area. He was a member of York Springs United Methodist Church, where he held most offices of the church. He was a member of the York Springs Fire Company and Yellow Breeches Anglers Club. Dale enjoyed building and refinishing antique cabinets and furniture. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He and his family enjoyed going to the family hunting camp in Tioga County. His family was the most important aspect of his life. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ruth V. (Lory) Williams. He is also survived by two sons, Thomas D. and wife Pamela Williams of Boiling Springs, Frederick L. Williams of Leesport, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one brother, Donald R. and wife Linda Williams of East Berlin. He was preceded in death by one sister, Gladys H. Brown and three brothers, Roy M. Williams, Lloyd D. Williams and Earl S. Williams and daughter-in-law Marta D. Williams. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 28, 2018 at York Springs United Methodist Church, 840 Trolley Road, York Springs with Reverend Trisha Guise officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
