Dale . "Pap" L. Woodward

Dale "Pap" Lawver Woodward, age 91, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at his home in Chambersburg. He was born Saturday, July 11, 1925, a son of the late Edward and Cora (Lawver) Woodward. He was a graduate of the Arendtsville Vocational High School. He was a television and radio repair man for many years in the Chambersburg area. He was a member of the Chambersburg Bible Church. Pap was an avid craftsman and built many of his own home furnishings. He was a beloved, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was a best friend to many. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (David) Hershman of Chambersburg, brother, Glenn Woodward, his grandchildren, James (Andrea) Hutson and Anna Schlichter, his great-grandchildren, Brace and Gavin Hutson, son-in-law, James Hutson (Donna) and his beloved dachshunds, Sammie and Susie. He is preceded in death by his wives, Gladys and Beryl and his siblings, Edgar, Mildred, Miriam, Alma, Albert, Carl and Ethel. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 21 at 11:00 AM at Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville. Burial will be in Flohr's Church Cemetery.
