Dane Davis Riffe

Dane Davis Riffe, age 90, passed away on Sunday November 17, 2024 at his home in Shippensburg, PA. He was born on February 1, 1934 in Stotesbury, West Virginia, son of Hayward and Beulah (Jennings) Riffe.

Dane worked as a mail sorter for the US Post Office for 30 years and for Lab Corps as a route delivery driver before his retirement. Dane served our country honorably in the US Navy where he worked as a radioman on the USS Waccamaw AO-109.

Dane will be remembered by his wife of 70 years, Janet, and his family as a devoted family man and friend who never met a stranger. He was a longtime member of the Jumping Branch Tabernacle in West Virginia where he served in leading the Worship Team.

Dane is survived by his wife, Janet; son Randy; sister, Barbara Pack and brother, Glen and his wife Sheila Riffe. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service in honor of Dane will be held by his family and friends at a later date at the Jumping Branch Tabernacle Church in West Virginia.
