David Christofer Carriero

David Christofer Carriero, age 48 of Shippensburg, passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2024. He was born December 5, 1975 in McConnellsburg to the late Daniel A. and Rita J. (DiComo) Carriero.

David was Director of Operations for Skiles Excavating, Inc. and a member of the Shippensburg VFW, Moose and Minnequa Club. He loved riding his Harley and was passionate about his work. He loved his dog, Saint and they enjoyed watching Judge Judy together. David would do anything for anyone and will be missed by his family and a lot of friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Maddison Brady of Shippensburg; son, Zachary Carriero of Shippensburg and siblings, Rosemary Martz and husband, Allan of Hustontown, PA, Debra Whitman and husband, Scott of Hill City, SD, Lisa Skiles and husband, James of Newville, Daniel Carriero of Sanford, FL, Joy Pack and husband, Chuck of Smithburg, MD and Michael Carriero of Sanford, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Brandon Skiles.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, where a Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 305 N. Prince Street, Shippensburg, PA. An additional viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until time of the Mass.David will be laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery at a later date.
