David Eugene Mcdannell, Jr.

David E. McDannell, Jr., 42 of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania died on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at his residence in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. David was born on Sunday, December 5, 1982 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He was the beloved son of David and Kim (Bottenfield) McDannell.

David graduated from Gettysburg High School in 2001. He loved golfing, having campfires, gong on vacations to Knoebels, and spending time with his family and children.  David worked in HVAC for 15 years as an installer and service technician. He also held various side jobs and drove Class B truck for McDannell Oil.  David was a family man who loved his children more than anything. He loved to play video games and watch TV with the kids, and taking them outside to play.  He will be missed by everyone, we love you always David.

David is survived by his wife, of 21 years, Monica (Lowery) McDannell; three daughters, Grace, Faith and Destiny; a son, David III; parents, David and Kim; a sister, Mary and a brother, Brandon.
