David H. Sipes

David H. Sipes, age 68 of Newville, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at his home. He was born Sunday, October 24, 1948 in Chambersburg, the son of the late Howardand Connie M. (Truax) Sipes. David graduated from Fannett-Metal High School in 1966. He was employed by Carlisle Syntec for 45 years. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara J. (Umbrell) Sipes. He is also survived by three daughters, Gina L. Shughart (Jere) of Carlisle, Danielle L. Sipes (Lanham) of Waterloo, IL, Jodee L. Eshenour (Douglas) of Carlisle, one son, David J. Sipes (Carrie) of Newville and six grandchildren, Tanner, Jered, Jordyn, Rutger, Tilly and Elliot. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
