Debbie M. Beam

Debbie M. Beam, age 57, of Walnut Bottom, was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born Wednesday, October 7, 1953 in Carlisle, the daughter of Helen I. (Swartz) Myers of Carlisle and the late EmmettE. Myers. Debbie graduated from Carlisle High School in 1972. She was employed by Carlisle Barracks in the dental clinic for 28 years.She was a member ofTrinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom, and Salem Stone Church in Carlisle, a 4-H Leader, Cub Scout Den Mother in Walnut Bottom, Girl Scout Leader, Ladies Auxilary President ofSouth Newton Township Fire Company Red Hat Society and Chambersburg HOG group. She is survived by her husband, Edward K. Beam to whom she was married for 37 years.She is also survived by her daughter: Michelle E. and husband Mark Parsons, Carlisle, her son: Keith E. and Linneah Beam, Walnut Bottom; four grandchildren Garrett, Justin, Kylee and Calvin; two sisters: Barb and husband Kevin Alleman, Shippensburg, Patty and husband Ron Pritchard, San Antonio, TX; four brothers: Rob and wife Deb Myers, Carlisle, Randy and wife Sylvia Myers, Newville, David Hite, Canton, OH, Kevin Hewitt and wife Maria of Aurora, CO and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 28 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Walnut Bottom with the Rev. Harold Bolyard officiating. A visitation will be held from6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 27 and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, January 28 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 118 Main Street, Walnut Bottom.
