Dolly Mae Griffith

Dolly “Dolls” Mae Griffith, age 54, of Shippensburg, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill. She was born October 8, 1966 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late William T., Sr., and Jacqueline J. (Jackson) Stambaugh. Dolly graduated in the Class of 1977 from North Hills High School in Pittsburgh. She worked for the Amish community as a van driver for the children for several years. In her spare time, Dolly enjoyed playing card games, pool and going on long drives. She also enjoyed the company of her many cats. She is survived by her daughter, Megan J. Stambaugh of Shippensburg; three brothers, Gerald (Karen) Stambaugh of Shippensburg, Thomas (Kimberly) Stambaugh of Idaho, and John (Pattie) Stambaugh of Illinois and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Megan’s father, Mike Thomas, Sr. and one brother, William T. Stambaugh, Jr. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Zion Covenant Church, 1102 Locust Street, Chambersburg, PA 17202, with Pastor Willie Dingeldein and Pastor Anton Luse officiating.
