Dolores (Dee) M. Miller

Dolores M. (Dee) Miller, age 67 of McSherrystown, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at her home. She was born Friday, October 25, 1946 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Curvin E. and Doris J. (Burd) Dennis, Sr. Dolores graduated from Bermudian High School. She was formerly employed by Hanover Hospital in the billing department for 10 years. She was a member of Moose of McSherrystown. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and dancing, especially country line dancing. Dolores is survived by two daughters, Lisa R. Miller of New Tripoli and Michelle E. Carbaugh of Gettysburg; a son, Michael L. Miller of Littlestown; five grandchildren, Matthew Kuhn, Brittany Carbaugh, Kayla Carbaugh, Nichole Miller and Courtney Miller; two great-grandchildren, Brian (Bubby) Shelleman and Bentley Shelleman; four sisters, Shirley Marsh of Gardners, Loretta Bear of New Oxford, Barbara Dennis of North Carolina and Sandra Dennis of Jacksonville, FL and three brothers, Curvin (Sonny) Dennis, Jr. of East Berlin, Clifford Dennis of Indiana and Ricky Dennis of Hanover. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 14 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Susan McCarthy officiating. Interment will be in Benders Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home Monday, January 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association,3001 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
