Dolphus Pride Felton, Jr.

Dolphus Pride Felton, Jr., age 55 of Hanover, died Friday, September 9, 2016 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born Sunday, January 15, 1961 in Fort Valley, GA the son of the late Dolphus and Jamie Lee (Turner) Felton, Sr. Dolphus graduated from Biglerville High School class of 1979. He was employed by Knouse Foods over 36 years. He was a member of New Life Outreach Ministries, Gettysburg. He enjoyed washing his truck, buying watches, Nike sneakers, and an avid fan of Penn State Football and New Orleans Saints. He is survived by his wife Tracy (Lawrence) Felton. He is also survived by two daughters, Charlene Evonne Felton, Gettysburg, Skie A. Rucker, Hanover, two sons, Matthew S Felton, Hanover, Devan F Lawrence, Hanover, grandchildren, Harlow A. Lawrence, Lavon Gomez and Jamieanna Banner. He is also survived by sisters and brothers, Angela Felton, Mary Felton both of Gettysburg, Horace Felton, Sammy Lee Felton, Michael Felton all of Fort Valley, GA, Tommy Pride, Melvin Felton, Frankie Felton all of Gettysburg. He was preceded in death by his brother Willie James and step-son Aaron Lawrence. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 16 at New Life Outreach Ministries, 278 S. Franklin Street, Gettysburg with Pastor Raymond McGhee officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery.
